The Invisible Rainbow
Resources to learn more from Arthur Firstenberg, including amicus curiae brief filed to the U.S. Supreme Court
For a deeper dive into the topic of electromagnetic radiation, The Invisible Rainbow by Arthur Firstenberg is a fascinating book.
Arthur Firstenberg is a scientist and journalist who is also affected by invisible electromagnetic radiation. He is one of many “canaries” who needed to drastically alter his life to minimize exposures to electromagnetic radiation in order to function.
Mr. Firstenberg and his non-profit share information on this website and are currently seeking volunteers to help raise awareness on this topic: https://cellphonetaskforce.org

The Invisible Rainbow book description:
“Over the last 220 years, society has evolved a universal belief that electricity is ‘safe’ for humanity and the planet. Scientist and journalist Arthur Firstenberg disrupts this conviction by telling the story of electricity in a way it has never been told before—from an environmental point of view—by detailing the effects that this fundamental societal building block has had on our health and our planet.
In The Invisible Rainbow, Firstenberg traces the history of electricity from the early eighteenth century to the present, making a compelling case that many environmental problems, as well as the major diseases of industrialized civilization—heart disease, diabetes, and cancer—are related to electrical pollution.”
Arthur Firstenberg recently published a shorter document titled, “Radio Wave Packet: What You Need to Know About Wireless Technology.” Mr. Firstenberg made this publication available for free on his website here: https://cellphonetaskforce.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Radio-Wave-Packet.pdf
Both publications are heavily sourced from scientific literature and relevant for our times.
In 2021, Arthur Firstenberg championed the creation of an amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief, which was filed to the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of 289 organizations and 34 individuals from 34 states and 29 countries.
The U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear the case. For a summary of the filing: https://cellphonetaskforce.org/petition-filed-in-u-s-supreme-court/

Of central interest to the amicus curiae brief:
Section 704 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 states:
“No State or local government or instrumentality thereof may regulate the placement, construction, and modification of personal wireless service facilities on the basis of the environmental effects of radio frequency emissions to the extent that such facilities comply with the Commission’s regulations concerning such emissions.”
